Community Partnership on Aging (CPA) is a unique model of municipal cooperation to provide services and resources to the older adults in member cities and beyond. Formed in 1978 by the three visionary mayors of Highland Heights, Lyndhurst and South Euclid to serve their older residents, the agency has grown to include three more cities (Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village and most recently, Richmond Heights). Funding is a combination of Older Americans Act dollars secured from the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA), funds from Cuyahoga County Department of Senior and Adult Services, contributions by the six cities and private foundation grants and donations. The agency is a Council of Government, with Mayor Patrick Ward of Lyndhurst as the Chair of the Council.
