HRCC HAS NEW NAME, SAME OUTSTANDING RESOURCES

Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce (HRCC) is pleased to announce that, beginning this Fall, the organization will henceforth be called Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce, to acknowledge the renewed cooperation between all six member cities and the Chamber. Founded in 1948 as the Cleveland Heights Chamber of Commerce, HRCC has grown to become one of the area’s premier business resource organizations, representing businesses and professionals and strengthening commerce in six member cities: Cleveland Heights, Lyndhurst, Richmond Heights, Shaker Heights, South Euclid, and University Heights. "We’re still the same outstanding business resource," says HRCC’s Executive Director Angie Pohlman. "The swell of support and the synergy in the group deserved formal recognition." The decision to officially change the name was made by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors, which includes representatives from all six cities. Like his counterparts, Lyndhurst Mayor Joe Cicero is very encouraged by the group’s cooperative action. "Each of our cities is working hard right along with the Chamber to encourage economic growth. And we’re working together to help the region’s businesses thrive. It’s a great time to be a member."
